MARKETING ON THE INTERNET

Can anyone market goods or services on the Internet? Yes! How? By taking advantage of the social networks, that is by using Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. or maybe even your own full-blown website (you can do one for free like this one by using Google blogger.com ), placing your sales and marketing messages as "posts". So where can you start? Well, each person must decide first what he or she wants to do? Do you want to do it all, buy or make products, advertise them, sell them, process orders, ship the product, and handle all the customer complaints? Or do you only want to do part of the process, for example, advertise or promote products and let someone else handle all the dirty details?  In my case I only want to do advertising, sales, and promotion, not the other stuff. You may only want to do blogging or writing articles with advertising as the side benefit on your website. This is another thing I do, like this website and others that I have. You may have to check out a lot of companies and services before you find one or two or three that you like to work with. I finally found one that I like which has the products shown on this page and more. Check some of them out. By the way I have purchased and checked out some of these products and verified that their system works.  You can join here, or click on the image at the top of the page. You can also click on any image on this page to check out the product that I am promoting. See if you would like to promote that product or not. In any case YOU CAN DO THIS or something like this or something else in the e-marketing realm and be a real marketeer!

Here are some of the pit-falls to watch out for in your quest to become an Internet Marketeer:

1. If at first you do not succeed or make a lot of money, don't get discouraged. Yo may have to adjust your techniques, change the company you work with, change your products you handle or promote.

2.  Study everything you can about marketing, especially Internet marketing. It is not an easy thing to do and you need to be well prepared with knowledge and proven techniques to be successful.

3.  Don't be afraid to try different things, but watch out if someone wants a large sum up front to get started. Most legitimate programs do not charge anything to join (such as the one I work with here.)  I joined several before I found the ones I like to work with.

4.  You have an insufficient number of contacts, followers, friends, or business leads to promote your business. You must develop a relatively large number of business motivated contacts to promote your product or service.

5.  You don't have enough traffic to your website or business to make significant sales. If you don't have enough traffic, you need to work on this and increase traffic to see your messages or your website(s).

6.  You have not developed enough places (websites, social network memberships, "tweets", or advertising spots) to get enough people to see your messages. Join everything you can, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Myspace, etc. to have places to post your messages.

7.  You don't spend enough time working on your marketing program. Don't forget about putting in some sweat equity and spending enough hours each day to get you program working. But don't over saturate your market by repeating the same messages over and over again!

8. You are hitting people with "hard sell" messages which people will consider SPAM and your messages are therefore not interesting to people.

*******************************************************************************

So here are the things to do to get your Internet business working for you:

1.  Monitor the service you work with and check your progress daily. Make adjustment if necessary.

2.  Study marketing, study marketing, study marketing!

3.  Try different things to see what service and products that you like to work with and that works for you.

4.  Build your business motivated, opportunity seeking, contacts and sales leads.

5.  Work on increasing traffic to see your advertisements and make sure your messages are short and catchy. Don't forget you are fishing for the smartest fish in the world, people!

6.  Us all the social networks and services you can to post your messages.

7.  Spend enough time to get your business going and working for you. Your sales messages should be well written, with good grammar, spelled correctly, interesting, informative, honest, and cool, but with impact, designed to reel in your prospect! And don't forget to do non-sales messages from time-to-time to communicate with your friends and associates.

8.  Keep your sales messages interesting, unusual, or even a little mysterious to grab peoples' interest so they will investigate your ad further. Do not do the "hard sell" and do not SPAM people with hundreds of obvious and uninteresting sales messages!
